U.S.Military Folding Chair A｜U.S.Military フォールディングチェア Aデカールは一部欠損していますが、おそらく “VACOL” 社製による、1940年代前後にアメリカミリタリーへ供給されていたものと思われる一脚です。スチール製の折りたたみ脚にキャンバス座面を組み合わせた、当時らしいキャンプスツールスタイルのデザイン。ラベルには “The Tourist’s Choice” の文字がわずかに確認でき、「Auto Camp（自動車旅行）」文化に向けた製品を手掛けていた小規模メーカーだったことがうかがえます。濃いミリタリーグリーンの焼付塗装が施されたスチールフレームは、経年による擦れやチップが見られますが、構造はしっかりとしています。座面キャンバスにも大きなダメージはなく、風合いの残る良好なコンディション。実用よりは、ディスプレーとしての使用をおすすめします。ミリタリーウェアやワークウェアと並べても違和感がなく、ショップ什器やガレージのディスプレーにも最適。グリーンやヘルメット、ランタンなどを置くだけでも雰囲気が引き立ちます。

The decal is partially missing, but this folding stool is most likely a product of VACOL,a small American manufacturer that supplied goods to the U.S. military around the 1940s.It features a classic camp stool style design — a steel folding frame combined with a canvas seat.
The faintly visible words “The Tourist’s Choice” on the label suggest that VACOL produceditems for the growing Auto Camp (automobile travel) culture of the era.
The steel frame is finished in a deep military green baked enamel, showing natural wearand scuffs from age and use, yet remains structurally solid.The canvas seat shows no major damage and retains a beautiful vintage texture,though it is not recommended for actual use.
